message
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Dr. Subhash University, Junagadh. We realize that the teen age is the best part of one’s life to dream, plan and endeavor to achieve one’s desired goal. Our social philosophy is that the students are the parents’ assets passed on to us for value addition. Our personal endeavors would be to play the roles of teacher, tutor, mentor, friend and counselor to nullify any short comings in the students and to discover and strengthen their abilities to become most sought after technical man power from this region. I am certain that parents and public would extend their helping hands to make the students realize that after their Mother as the very first teacher at home their college is their second institutional Mother who nourishes and moulds their technical bodies. With parental cultivation of their wards to show similar respect and love to their Mother institution, the parents and public can rest assured that all of us at Dr. Subhash University will return the students to Society as knowledgeable, competent and confident professionals.
Our Journey
The foundation was established in 1976 with the aim of providing educational opportunities and fostering the holistic development of girls.
In 1980, the foundation expanded its reach with the establishment of Dr. Subhash Arya Kanya Vidhyalaya, offering quality education to girls.
In 1981, Dr. Subhash Arya Kanya Chhatralaya was created, providing a safe and supportive environment for girls to live and study.
In 1986, the foundation set up Dr. Subhash Mahila College of Education, empowering women to become educators and leaders in their communities.
Dr. Subhash Primary School was established in 1987, providing primary education to young girls and laying the foundation for their future success.
In 1992, the Dr. Subhash Baalwadi was set up, focusing on early childhood education and development for girls from underserved communities.
This institution was established to provide physical education and health-focused programs for the girls, enhancing their overall well-being.
Dr. Subhash Baal Mandir was established in 1996 to cater to the educational and developmental needs of young girls in a nurturing environment.
The Adhyapan Mandir was created to provide advanced education and training to educators, further promoting the empowerment of girls.
Dr. Subhash College of Education was set up in 2001, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in education.
In 2002, the foundation expanded further with the establishment of Dr. Subhash College of Physical Education, emphasizing physical fitness and sports.
In 2005, the Dr. Subhash College of Journalism was created to train the next generation of journalists, empowering them to tell impactful stories.
In 2006, Dr. Subhash Foundation opened an IGNOU Centre to provide distance education and increase access to higher learning for a larger audience.
In 2010, the foundation established the Dr. Subhash Education Campus, which included courses in engineering, pharmacy, and computer applications.
In 2012, the foundation introduced Diploma Engineering programs to provide specialized technical education to young girls.
In 2016, the foundation began offering a Bachelor of Science program, opening doors for girls to pursue careers in science and research.
In 2018, the Bachelor of Computer Application program was launched, equipping girls with the skills to excel in the tech industry.
In 2019, the foundation began offering a Master of Science program, allowing students to continue their education in advanced scientific fields.
In 2020, the Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery program was introduced to empower young women to enter the healthcare sector as nurses.
The General Nurse and Midwife program, established in 2020, provides comprehensive training for young women pursuing nursing careers.
In 2020, the foundation introduced a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) program to provide in-depth education for aspiring nurses.
The establishment of Dr. Subhash University in 2022 expanded the foundation’s reach and impact, offering degrees in various disciplines.
The Bachelor of Commerce program, established in 2022, provides students with a solid foundation in business and commerce.
In 2022, the foundation launched a Bachelor of Business Administration program to train young leaders for the corporate world.
The Master of Business Administration program, introduced in 2022, focuses on developing advanced managerial and leadership skills.
The Master of Technology program, launched in 2022, offers a deep dive into technical fields and fosters innovation in engineering and technology.
In 2022, the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program was introduced, training students in the field of physical rehabilitation and therapy.
The Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) program was introduced in 2022 to offer advanced nursing education and training to those already in the field.
The Doctor of Philosophy program, initiated in 2022, encourages students to pursue research and contribute new knowledge in their fields.
The Master of Commerce program was introduced in 2023, offering advanced education in business and financial management.
In 2023, the Master of Pharmacy program was introduced, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical sciences.
The Bachelor of Arts program was launched in 2023, providing students with an in-depth education in humanities and arts.
In 2023, the Master of Arts program was introduced, offering advanced studies in various disciplines within the humanities.
In 2023, the Bachelor of Science (Honors) Agriculture program was introduced, equipping students with the skills needed in the agricultural sector.
The Bachelor of Physical Education program, launched in 2023, focuses on fitness, sports science, and physical training.
